WordPress as an Alternative to a Custom Professionally Created Website.
For the vast majority of small business owners, developing a website is high on their list of essential marketing materials. However, for those on a tight budget, quotes from high-end web development agencies can prove discouraging. High quality, website design & development is not inexpensive. Custom programming, website architecture and design is time intensive and, dependent on the customer requirements, such work may take weeks or possibly months to complete.
An ideal solution for start-ups and many small businesses on a restricted budget is to use WordPress for their initial web presence and have a custom website developed once a positive cash flow occurs. Depending on the type of business and it's needs, WordPress may be an acceptable long term solution.
