SBA Honors Dolores V. Stafford, Small Business Person of the Year 2012

Setauket, NY –June 2012

The U.S. Small Business Administration honored Dolores V. Stafford, President and CEO of Stafford Associates, the Small Business Person of the Year Award for 2012 during Small Business Week at their offices in Manhattan. The New York Office of the SBA is made up of NYC, Long Island and seven upstate counties. The award winners were chosen by an independent panel of judges for their achievements, job creation and contributions to the community. 

Dolores was nominated by Gloria Glowacki, Associate Director of the Small Business Development Center in Stony Brook, NY, for her 31 years of dedication to growing her business, providing jobs for many local residents and for working closely with the community in building Stafford Associates’ LEED Gold Certified, headquarters and state-of-the art Data Center in Setauket, NY.

Statewide winners will be submitted into the National Competition and the National winners will be honored at a ceremony during National Small Business Week in Washington DC.
